NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Motherboard

How good is this motherboard? How far off is it from being the best motherboard on the market?

Theres alot more to a motherboard than just the chipset, however the nForce 590 chipset is one of the best and newest available, and is only on the AM2 platform. The new 5xx chipset offers alot of advantages over the older nForce 4 chipset, you should be very pleased with it.

What model motherboard are you getting?

Ugh i'm such a noob all over again. That's unfortunately all the information I got from Alienware. Before the flaming/questions begin... understand it's financed and I can't afford to buy a new one right now.

Processor: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4600+ Processor w/ HyperTransport and Dual Core Technology
Operating System (Office software not included): Genuine Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Service Pack 2
Chassis: Alienware® Full-Tower Case
Power Supply: 700 Watt Alienware® Approved Multi-GPU Power Supply
Motherboard: Alienware® Approved NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Motherboard
Memory: 2GB DDR2 PC-6400 SDRAM at 800MHz - 2 x 1024MB
System Drive: Extreme Performance - 500GB RAID0 (2 x 250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/2 x 8MB Cache)
Primary CD ROM/DVD ROM: 16x Dual Layer DVD±R/W Drive w/LightScribe Technology
Graphics Processor: 256MB PCI-Express x16 NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7900 GT - DVI Dual Link Supported
Sound Card: High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio
Communications: Integrated Dual High Performance Gigabit Ethernet

That's the entire system and how it's labeled.

My goal is to be able to play every game on max settings without ANY or choppy gameplay. I don't want any lag and I hate load time. I am hoping this PC will do this for me.
