Im just preparing to buy this motherboard, for you video card smarty pants.. will my ati x800 work in the pci express slot or does this motherboard have to use a nvidia card, Im getting an nvidia in a few weeks

As long as your X800 is a PCI-E card, it will work on any Mobo with a PCI-E card. nvidia chipset or not. There is no advantage to having a nvidia card in a nvidia mobo.
