Nvidia or ATI

I,m building a computer for a guy and he has two AGP video cards.One is a plain Nvidia 6600 256mb and the other is a ATI X1600Pro 256mb. Think I,m going with the ATI, what do you all think

I kinda thought so too, if it was a 6600gt it might be a toss up! But I think the X1600pro would be better than the 6600

Awesome! turns out I actually have those two cards also and never really knew which one was better. I thought they were the same since its both 256. However, I kept the Nvidia though. haha.

But I guess its the ATI.

I dont have a 6600, but i do have the x1600PRO. I am pretty dissapointed in this card, i only get around 30fps in NFSMW at medium settings, and i get around 20FPS in COD2 at high settings. My previous x800GTO was better than this.

But it does look better than a 6600.

Yea, I already put the X1600Pro in it, does seem a little slower than I thought, told him to run it a few days to see what he thinks, if not I would put he 6600 in, plus I have a old 9800Pro I would let him try too!
