Nvidia shield hard drive type

Hi all, I am on the verge of buying a Nvidia shield with the intention of buying the 16gb ssd version and then upgrading then ssd to a decent size.

Can anyone confirm if it is definitely a standard 2.5 sata drive inside the shield ?

Thanks Voyager after looking at that article then others it lead me to, the 500gb is the only option, although it would seem like even though you can physically change the hdd on the pro model, there is no way to copy or even read the hard drive once it is removed from the shield and connected to a pc.

I did download the factory image for the shield pro, I am assuming if i can`t copy from old to new drive, I can simply fit a new drive and then clean install the factory android tv image back in ?
