Nvidia Ti

Hey I was just given a Nvidia ti 4200, I don't know much about it. Can some one tell me what they think of the card and maybe compare it to an equal ati so I can get a clear picture of what its like. I dont wanna go putting it in my pc with out knowing how good it is.... Cheers!

i think this card is equal to radeon 9500 or 9600, not sure.

i used to have this card, its getting long in the tooth now but you'll be able to play halo quite well on it. its actually a bit better than an FX5200

It's much better actually.

Besides, they can usually be upped to 4600 speeds.

well I curently have an ATI Radeon 9250. how does the Nvidia ti 4200 Compare to the Radeon 9250?

i think it does, they are both quicker than the 5200 but i'm not sure how closely they compare

and ofcourse the ti4200 will outpeform 9250 in any game

it is just a bit quicker, i used to have one but i switched back to my fx5200 cos it ran halo a little quicker when i used shader model 1.1

Well the 9250 is a 250/200 card and the Ti4200 is 250/200 so I dont know how you're "of course"ing this
