is there any software available that allows easy overclocking in a notebook where the manufacturer has not allowed changes to the bios?
 
It'll be hard to find anything like that seeing how propriatary those motherboards are. My old ECS Desknote actually had an option to overclock it when I flashed the bios. I bumped it up a bit, but heat was always a major issue with that machine, and it didn't help!
 
the bios doesnt allow overclocking, and if you were able to get around it, if you overclocked high enough, then you will have severe heat issues.
