O/C P4 Willamette

Okay so I had no problem o/cing my P4 Northwood by upping the CPU Clock in the BIOS but when I tried o/cing my P4 Willamette, the BIOS allowed me to change the CPU Clock & Multiplier as well. Does anybody have any idea why I cant change the Multiplier for my Northwood?
 
The willamette was the origianal P4 core, way back from 2001.Chances are the Willamette dosent have a multiplyer cap like the northwood. during the willamette the idea of overclocking caught on, so i bet its intels little response to oCing thats causing ur issue.
