got the download and stuff now what do i do with it (the files) and after that does anyone know how to get into it?.. im the arch-mage already so that should do it... but just in case lol

you mean downloaded mod files?
put them into the /Data file and then you can enable the mod's by pressing the 'Data files' button in the startup menu

well if your going to install the high texture pack that gives you better visual with grass and distant your fps will decrease...

The one I downloaded didn't make my FPS go down at all. In fact, that was one of the "features"
