I overclocked to 3.0Ghz by increasing the FBS thing from 133Mhz to 150Mhz (if I recall correctly), I played FEAR and there where a few times where I could hear the enemy gunshots long after I had killed them, also the PC automatically restarted a few times, is that a sign of unstability?

Yes. To increase stability, you may want to increase the VCore (CPU Voltage) and/or lower the memory speed.

yea, more frequency requires more voltage. its a simple fact.
of course, more voltage increases heat the most, so be careful and make sure you have enough cooling.
read oc101

ya, unless you have proper cooling for your cpu, don't put up the voltage,, well at least until you are confident enough,,,

also check the current temperature, if its like 30~40C i guess you can pu up the volatage no problem.

but i suggest downclock your cpu a little bit...
0.1Ghz, you won't see the difference. except its stability...

my CPU is 21C at idle and can reach 35C under pressure, I guess thats because I put some AS5 on it.
I'll probobly keep it where it is, don't want to take the risk

Those temps are fine, if you increase the voltage slightly it wont raise the temp too much.

Yeah, those temps aren't bad at all. I would definately raise the voltage a little bit to get an even higher OC.
