What do some of you OC it to? Sorry if this has been asked before many times I am sure it has, but I am omw home from school and just had to know.
 
lol god no.. i usualy cut out half way in the day to come home. Just I stay after some times to help the special kids with physics crap. An i thought hey.. my 05score sucks, ill ask an see what ppl OC it ti so i can read it when i get home, which is now :)
 
I made it to the 420/1150 and it´s stable as hell.. :) I can´t go any higher cause driver says it I can´t..

Maybe by flashing my bios to Ultra I can go even higer and stay stable...
 
I got a NV5 cooler and managed to hit 427/1225. It was not stable at all and crashed on 3Dmard05. Im now running the card @ 400/1000.
 
I did 420, 1150, I weant from 4967 on 05mark to 5179. I still think I should have gotten 5179 without OCing. But I guess my mobo sux..

nutcase whats your 05score at that OC?
 
Oh.. My score @ 420/1150 is 5546. And I think you should get a bit more than I.. Cause I have 32-bit prosessor..And you have 64-bit :)
 
Yeah right.. like each and one of us has a lot of cash :)
No seriously NVidia will release new chip soon and it´s gonna be some chip.
6800GT will be cheaper and if you sli ready board it will be great but 7800GT will cost a lot less then, so you could always sell your 6800GT and buy 7800GT and no need to go with SLI, which suck much more of your PSU.. ;)

Why would the size of the registry have an effect on performance (i'll give you a hint.... it doesn't) ;)

Hook up some SLI if you want to improve your score alot. Look at my score in my sig.

And put an unnecessary dent in your wallet. An OC is free, barring any damage.
Also note unless your favorite game is 3DMark 05 benchies dont mean much.
 
That´s nice Archangel! How did you get that frequency? By flashing BIOS?

My drivers won´t let me go any higer than 420/1150.. :(

And Otterah.. Do you have some spyware or something in your comp? You should check it out.. Try to download latest drivers and shut down all those unnecessery programs..

I don´t know any better than that.. Maybe someone does, hopefully.. Otherwise it´s warranty returt :)
 
Once I did msconfig and turned off everything with Hide all microsoft services checked, and with all that turned off i got less in marks by like 900.

I scanned for everything, i have only ever had a few viruses, and they have all been killed long ago. No spyware.
