I searched for it and the thread I found wasn't much help.

Ram is 256MB Kingston Value Ram
Mobo is cheapo ECS K7VTA3 v.8 w/ Via KT333 chipset

What do I have to do OC this thing? Currently running at 2.0ghz

Yeah for sure, you wont be able to OC much eith that chip and more limiting, the motherboard. And if you do manage to pull off any kind of OC, make sure you got the cooling down pat because I wouldnt trust the thermal guards on ECS K7 boards

Let me clarify, I know how to overclock the cpu in reference to core & bus speed settings on the Mobo. But I haven't done this since Intel slot 1 Cellerons and Slot II PIIIs. I remember hearing something about having to use a conductive pen/pencil to bridge a "jumper" or something to that affect on the CPU. Maybe to "unlock" the clock.

Okay, then just for kicks, is an XP 2000+ anymore "overclockable"?

The 2400+ TBred is an easy overclocker (from my experience), and should already be "unlocked." However, that ECS board is probably the limiting factor with most overclocking features, and I doubt it will let you see the potential of the CPU. I'd go for a 2400+ over a 2000+.

Well what core's are involved here? :) (i doubt it will be but always better to be thorough)
