oc pentium 4

can anyone tell me how can i oc my cpu ?
my mobo is P4 TITAN 667

go into the bios (press delete before windows boots up) and increase frequency. make sure you have ample cooling for it.
what type of P4? i hear northwoods are a lot cooler than prescotts.

It's a Northwood one.....I know how to get into bios and stuffs but i'm not sure about increasing the frequency like how far can you increase it to ?? What is FSB ?? how do i find it in the bios ??

lol yea, thats where you start... overclocking 101!
it'll familiarize you with terms such as FSB and such.
btw FSB stands for front side bus.

If it's not in the BIOS, it may be possible to OC in Windows.

Do you have a pre-made computer from someone like HP or Dell?

no, I was given this mother board and cpu by a friend and built the rest up by myself......

so how would you OC in windows then ?
