How would I go about ocing my 7600 GS? It is a silent card, no fans, just heaksinks and heatpipes. Do I need a program to OC it? What performance gain would I see out of it? As you can tell, I haven't got the cash to afford a better graphics card.

Are you running XP, if so you are very fortunate, its a nightmare overclocking nvidia cards in Vista. Well, the XP drivers have a built in overclocking feature. You just have to google "coolbit" and download the registry hack to get that console, then you are in business.

Alternatively you can download a third party program like Riva tuner or Powerstrip to overclock your card.

The gains for me at least is HUGE, I have a 7900GT and I overclocked it 620/1820 from a stock of 450/1400, it gained an extra 1000 3dmark points in 3dmark 06.

 I got that reg key, but however, i'm still stumped. I also think that I don't have the latest driver for my card..

when you first open up Riva tuner, it will build up a database first, after that finishes, in the Drivers Settings section click on the little triangle, then press system settings. You will then be greeted with the overclocking screen,

Enjoy!!!
