i think your kind of taking over the thread...you could start your own.

1. Prolly depends mostly on the cooler and its efficiency
2. What make of the 5600 do you have? :)
3. I would expect much more than 150/430 but thats just a guess

Or i could do it for you :P

ok i have a 3d blaster 5 fx5600 xt, the version with gunmetal included i cant find more details...
One thing be4 this cart i had an ati radeon 7500 dual disp. with 128 megs, but now, if i look in the bios there is a placce where u can change mapped memory, should i set it on 256 then, ..???

99.99151146% of people on this planet wont notice a difference in changing the AGP Memory Aperture from 128 to 256. Hell most people dont even notice with 64Mbytes :)

You must be reading something wrong, either that or im lost. theres no way your gpu core speed should be that low. my 5500 originally had a 270mhz core frequency and 400mhz memory clock. i increased it from within advanced options and complements of a registry change to 325mhz core and 501mhz memory clock speed. The 5600's have 325mhz cores and 500mhz memory clock frequencies...

check for yourself

yeah it does seem kinda low... although some OEMs have in the past downclocked their cards (for reasons unknown possibly because of cheap cooling). BTW thx for the specs on the 5500, been looking for them all over the place! :D
