Ocing my P4

I have a P4 at 2.4 gh from late 2002. I'm not sure what core it is. On anandtech they OC'd a "P4C 2.4gh". What does the c stand for? They OC'd it to 3.8 gh on liquid cooling, so I am hoping to hit 2.8 on air, or maybe 3 gh if I get an aftermarket heatsink. But is It worth it? Also how high can I go? This system was built, not bought like my other dell, so its not.. crap.

if you run cpuz you can find out what core it is, theres prolly a common sense link, its 3 in the morning now, and i just dont have any of that left

OK its gonna be another week before I can do anything though, that computers at my dads house and I'm at my moms right now.
