ocing programs

Some motherboards come with an Oc'ing utility program but the best way to OC is done by tweaking the Bios settings. You generally get better results.
 
when i load up my computer it says press tab to open bios or whatever and i press tab but it still loads up anyway?
 
Not to be obvious, but did you read your manual? If your manual is wrong, you can probably find more info with a web browser search. Maybe you need to download an update for your bios.
