Wait around--there'll be a buyer. You can try other forums or craigslist--for that price, I'd almost bite, and I don't even have a computer that'll take desktop DDR3 :P.

I know right...was thinking of buying it to trade for DDR2 :P

dont think i really need more ram. but for the price,, the only thing is the clock. mine is a-data and 9-9-9, and i dont know enough about it to know if its compatible. i know its best to stay with same brand?

I've never really had any issues mixing ram. It's really more the motherboard's issue if ram doesn't mix.
But with AMD it doesn't seem to be as much of an issue, only really socket 775 intel. Ever since the CPU's got the internal memory controller, not much of an issue.

I have a 775 with 3 different brands in it. 2 are those off-brand kind that you find in pre built systems of unknown origin.

Some brands of motherboard are different. I've owned a P5Q-E and a deluxe, only issue I had was the deluxe didn't like my DDR2-1150 OCZ reapers.
