OCZ 600w not enough for 8800GTX

Hi, i bought a OCZ 600w for my 8800GTX thinking it's was enough but it's not i guess. The thing is. My PC is really slow to boot. The first 5 seconds seem excruciating for my PSU. It seem the PSU have a hard time to send all the power require. The 8800GTX use 300w or more. It's like starting an old car on a cold winter day. Once it is started it's ok.

It seem to run fine after. Dunno for long period! And i just wish the 5 excruciating seconds at the begining of my boot may not be bad for my conponents.

300watts? It can't be more than 150-200...

 lmfao how do the first five seconds of boot seem hard for ur psu?

600 watts should definitely be fine
check ur voltages

The GameXStream 600W is more than sufficient for a single 8800GTX. Some people have even reported success with SLId 8800GTXs, although that's pushing it a bit further than i'd want to (particularly given the ripple issues at full load).

If it's really behaving abnormally, you may just have a defective unit. You may be best to RMA it if it's causing you problems.

It's the sound it make, it's just not normal. And my voltage is 12V 18A
By voltages he means the output voltage on each line. The +12V line will not be exactly +12V, and readings significantly higher or lower may indicate a problem with the PSU.
