OCZ on an EVGA 780i

I am researching my memory for upgrade potential. I have 4G of CRUCIAL, but was looking for faster and/or more memory as it is the weak point in the rating determined by VISTA.

The OCZ doesn't even seem to recognize my motherboard. Am I incorrect assuming that memory is memory and you should be able to use any DDR2 on any motherboard?

Or should I just look for a better quality CRUCIAL? I have 2 2G sticks at 800
 
This is one of the options I was looking at.

Think it will work? How do I check.
