I'm wanting to get an OCZ Throttle Esata flash drive in 32GB capacity.
I have heard/read conflicting reviews on Esata connectivity and was wondering what the real deal is--On the box it says 'true plug and play', yet some reviews indicate that in order to use the Esata portion you need to plug in the included mini usb-to- usb cable, which apparently is to provide power!
Are Esata ports not powered? Not that using a cable is that bad but it would be ideal and obviously more convenient to just plug/play like normal USB flash drives.
Does it depend on the laptop/PC you have? Are some powered and some not?
