Hi Guys,
I have recently put together a computer:
Current configuration:
Intel CORE i7 3820 3.60GHz CPU /10MB CACHE/LGA2011/4CORES/NO FAN:
2 x Corsair 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3, 2400MHz CL10 (10-12-12-) CMD32GX3M4A2400C10 DIMM, Unbuffered, DOMINATOR® Platinum, 1.65V
Antec 1000W High Current Pro PSU, 80 PLUS Platinum, High Current +12V rail:
Bitfenix Colossus White Gaming Case:
Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI socket 2011 motherboard:
1 x Gigabyte 4870x2 video card
At the moment I have 3 small drives of 32, 240 and 320 Gb if I try to install a bigger drive (600Gb or above) the computer will not even switch on....What I am really confused about the three drives I have currently installed are from earlier machines while the bigger drives are brand new (I have tried 4 new drive up to 2Tb).
Any thoughts????
TIA
