So I have a new custom built I'm doing for a client, and it ran flawlessly for a week but then suddenly started coming up with a "boot selection failed" error and wouldn't load into Windows 7. So, after fscking around with the hard drives for hours thinking it was something with the RAID setup I decided to test the RAM and both sticks came up with hardly anything but errors.
So basically both sticks simultaneously catastrophically failed... not something I've seen before except for blown PSU or something like that. My worries is that it's the motherboard. I popped in a new stick of DDR3 and it's running fine now but I'm still concerned. Ideas?
