Odd Question.... Please Help

I am currently in school and I live with a roommate who used to be a really good friend of mine, but we have recently not gotten along. He used to be in the IT field and he is very smart with computers and networks and this makes me very nervous that he may be hacking into my computer. I would like to bring it to a stop or prevent it from happening, so hopefully someone can help me out.

My computer:
Dell Inspiron running Windows Vista Business

His computers:
Apple MacBook Pro &
Some kind of Tablet running Windows Vista

We are both on the same wireless network (D-Link)

Currently, whenever I leave my computer I always lock it by pressing the windows button and the "L" key, but I am wondering if he can get past that, or if there is more I can do to protect myself from him getting onto my computer? I also know there are some programs that can see what other computers are doing on the same network.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dont just Lock your computer Set it to Hibernate or Standby or Unplug the Network cable or turn off the wireless antenna. I dont think he can get past the password unless you are gone for some hours. There are programs used to Spy on computers over the network but you would have to have the Server running on your computer to make that possible. ... Also and Disable Remote Desktop Management.
