OEM drives

I am building my new computer soon. I ordered 3 OEM products recently. I have heard that OEM products can be a pain.

I ordered an optical drive, a sata hard drive, and a floppy drive that are all OEM. When I go to build my computer is there anything I should watch out for when trying to install these drives?

I dont want to get stuck when getting to those. I would like to know in advance what I am getting myself in to :o
 
OEM just means it doesnt come in fancy box with manuals and cables. But the cables you should get with the motherboard anyway.
 
when buying OEM make sure you have all the cables (i.e IDE SATA) ordered or you have them anyway. You can normally add them for a few extra £ or $.
 
Software you will need to buy or download (freeware) by yourself, or ask for ideas here. Optical drives and floppy drives dont need drivers, and drivers for SATA drives should be on your motherboard cd. Actually, im not sure if SATA drives need drivers becaus ei dont have one myself, but i think they do.
 
An OEM processor is usally just the processor(no real box, booklets, or heatsync) Harddrive, it might just be the drive in a bag, no cables, screws, or anything. Same with CD-ROMs...

Drivers, as other's said, are quite easy just to find online somewhere(say the manufacturer's site :P)
