OEM or Retail

Hi I was wondering im tight on money after buying my new computer, should I get the OEM edition of Vista?

I have installed an operating system before its realy not hard so don't need instructions (I don't think). Well I have never installed one on a blank computer.

I was just wondering what the differences between OEM editions and full retail was?

What advantages and disadvantages oppose me?

And how do I install an OS on a computer with nothing on the HDD?

Thanks

Jon

Get OEM, its ALOT cheaper. The only thing you dont get is a book, fancy box, and support from microsoft.. Also i think Retail come with 32 and 64bit. But that don't matter since you will only use one anyway.

So, i would get OEM Vista Home Premium 64bit.

Thanks I will do, and what a co-incidence I was thinking exact same thing Vista Home Premium 64 bit lol. Ok time to check the internet for the best price, guess I will install an old copy of some OS until it comes so I can make sure al cables are in right.

Does this site look trust worthy or are the deals TO GOOD to be true?

There American based but I pretty sure I can ship to England but I dont know how much for, and what tazes I need to pay? But they are selling full retail editions of Vista for LESS that OEM here in England.

Thanks for any comeback on this

Jon
