OEM vs Retail

hey all,

i am going to be building a new computer soon and i was looking at Windows 7 for my OS and i noticed that the OEM is roughy $100 cheaper than the Retail version.
Whats the difference between these two versions and will i be okay if i purchase the OEM?

any insight will be greatly appreciated!

Oem comes with no manual or support from microsoft. Oem is most generally tied to the motherboard that you install it on and retail version can be installed on more than one computer as long as its uninstalled from the previous computer.
