Of these two which has more processing power?

Pretty much a toss up, in games I say the X2 5600 does alittle better. If you overclock the E4600 would be the better choice, if not it doesnt really matter which one.
 
C2d arch. is about 30% faster than X2 arch., per clock. That'd make the 2.8 x2 equivalent to a 2.0 core2 chip, if the above figure is correct, which was gathered from a couple benchmarks. I say the E4600.
 
Get E4600

5600+ is based on an outdated 90nm Windsor core which consume a lot of power

Check this review, E4600 performs better most of the time
