Office '07 won't uninstall?

ive been having major problems trying to get Office '07 installed and then when i did finish, word would not let me edit anything and outlook would not open at all... i used YourUninstaller!, and RegCure, to try and delete any unused files. i also went through the register and manually deleted anything with the "ms11" or "ms12" in it.

i then reinstalled MS Office 2003 (installed before i messed with outlook). the outlook in there also doesnt work (and didnt work before). and now every time i try to open a .doc file i get a message saying that i need to wait while office '07 is being installed. if i open word first and then use the "open" function it will work.

does anyone know what is goin on? or have a theory?

pls let me know if you need any more information.

thanks.

you shouldn't have touch office 11 thats for 2003 office 12 is 2007 ,anyways for such error, you need your office 2007 disk, pop in the cd and start office, it will then install those missing components, do not cancel it

but thats just it, i did the full install from the 07. and it never worked right. i had big problems with it. thats why i tried to uninstall it and reinstall the 03.

FYI. i did the deleting of Ms11,and 12 before i reinstalled 03.
so how do stop 07 from poping up when the default add/remove programs doesnt see OFfice 07, and neither does YourUninstaller!.

ok, i just went back through the registry and searched/removed anything that looked like "ms12, 2007, office12, office 2007, outlook2007, woord2007... and so on.

i then tried opening some .doc's and the message is no longer there.

thanks for the replies patrickV.
