Office365 direct access to my gmail account: normal or intrusive ?

Hello everyone,

Since a few days I notice a remote access from 2 foreign IP when i log in my Gmail account. Identified and authorized at Office365 https://support.microsoft.com from Ireland and Sweden. I do not remember allowing such connections so I wonder if it is normal to have such remote connections and Microsoft accesses to Gmail accounts. I recently linked my Gmail account to Outlook and it could be the explaination since then but I am not sure. I find it intrusive and suspect surveillance so I want to make sure everything is ok.

Here is a picture with my IP and the 2 foreign microsoft IPs.

Thanks in advance if someone has a clue.

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps you have (or had) your G-Mail account receive e-mails from a Microsoft account (i.e. hotmail.com, outlook.com, msn.com) or maybe you have a Microsoft account with your G-Mail email address? The other possible thing is that you used a Sign in with Google which it remembers.

You will find the email info here: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/accounts

If you don't remember this, then click on Manage Account Access, and see what options are here to remove if needed.

I am not sure what that Manage Account Access shows, but if that link doesn't take you to this one: https://myaccount.google.com/connections Check here for any 3rd party accounts that you have allowed to connect the Google Account to.

FYI, both IPs from Sweden and Ireland are assigned to Microsoft so my best guess is you have allowed a connection somewhere.

Ok thank you very much for quick response. It helped me to solve the problem.
I checked my third party allowed accounts via the google links you gave.
And YES, it appears I allowed full access to Microsoft on March 4 but I have no idea how.
I indeed have a microsoft account with my gmail adress as a login, could come from here, or Outlook maybe.
Thank you very much again, it will remove the fear of being monitored or hacked, it's already a big concern off.
Thanks again for your time.
Have a nice one !

PS: thx for reactivity...
