Impressive performance. Not only performance has improved but also power consumption, and the performance of the integrated GPU has improved as well

That i7 2600k is beast. The thing is about as fast as the 980x, and it only costs ~$320! Go Intel! It's nice to see that they're not overpricing their flagship CPUs anymore. Of course, in this case it's the flagship mid-range CPU. Or maybe it ISN'T the flagship....
