Make sure everything is seated correctly... Be careful. All the power cords are connected etc.

also make sure that there isn't any stray metal touching the mobo, it sounds like a short circuting problem, also check your opitical drives. I remember when i messed up rewiring my case and killing my burner and floppy the similar situation happened to me.

Hmm

Yeah check that your motherboars is seated properly on stand-offs. Also make sure that some wire is not sticking out somewhere touching the case and so on. For troubleshooting, try to bootup without the optical drives and any unnecessary PCI devices and so on. It would be worth it to try and bootup without the HDD as well. That would eliminate other problems as well. Also seems to me that the PSU is utilising a protection system.

PS: I know that this may sound stupid but you do have it set for the right voltage at the back right? I mean 110V vs 220V or whatever that is where you live.

It has that option from what I can see

I did the stupied thing of playing around with it!

I was young! fortunatly all it did was blow a fuse in my PSU.

What are the settings for? 240V is for where?

what do you mean by stand offs?

i put my mobo in the trey and just screwed a single screw through the top of the mobo in each hole

Check you motherboard manual to see what that specific error code means, but I'm guessing videocard or memory, have you seated these properly? Take them out and reseat them properly.

Standoffs are small "extenders" that have a screw on one end, and a screw hole on the other end. They are used so that the back of the motherboard doesn't touch the metal part of the case.
