OK, I was working on my social studies project in Word, and when I try to save it to the hdd, it says something about the disk being full or too many progs being open. The disk is not full, I have 4.2GB left, and it sure ain't that big. I can save from other programs, and another instance of Word that I had open, but not this one. Anybody know how I can save it?

Well Since you can save in anouther instance of word I would just copy and paste the entire document into anouther instance of word then save it.

Have you checked certain settings about where you are saving the document in; Folder attributes, File settings (Read-only, etc..)?

How about trying this: Open up a new blank document in Word (or the program in which you are trying to save), copy and paste the contents of the file which cannot be saved, and save it somewhere else on the HDD (not the same folder). Then, if it doesn't save, we know that the problem can be narrowed down to the files' contents and/or the program :)

Or just screw Wordperfect and Word and all that crap and use LaTeX. But to solve the problem, try a Save-As and use a diferent name

latex? Save as doesn't work. Anyway, I screwed that (not literally:D ), and started over, it is fine now. BTW, I turn in the project tomorrow, wish me luck:rolleyes:
