Make sure that your drivers are all loaded... i.e have you installed the drivers for monitor, or does it just say that you have a "Plug n Play" monitor?
Also, as Tweaker said try different refresh rates and resolutions.
his refresh rate was too high, he ran an OLD monitor. try updating all drivers and updates for your PC. if that doesnt help, try lowering refresh rate. if it still shakes at 60FPS then it might be time for a new monitor.
That will prob be cause by the AC Transformer in the base of the lamp, as it will have an EMF field around it and when put to close to your monitor it will screw with the signals & horozontal/vertical alignment magnets.
search around the house for any electrical items and turn them off, they can cause interference with the monitor. i was having the same problem, but only once in a while, i found out it was my dads small heater in his bathroom on the other side of the house. ive found turning on a vacume cleaner will do this too.
Yup.. high current draw devices and AC Pumps / Motors on the same circuit could also affect it... you may be able to stop it by using a UPS or if posible, power it from another circuit in your house(unfortunatly may mean running a power cord to another room).
It was a IBM G72 i got for free, i had all the drivers and everything lowering the hertz from 75 to 60 fixed it, thanks. It was getting anoying. I dont know why but now it dosn't look the same though, something in differerent....
Heh, figered it out, the part it shows takes up the whole screen now, because i have always need to lazy to use the keys on the moniter to stretch it out fully. thanks again people
