Ok got new pc now what vid card ?

My new pc has 2 pci express slots so which video card could i get for a good price thaks a link would be really greatfull.
if you want to know i have an amd athlon 3500+,
and 512mb of ram.

I'd recommend going for an X1900XT.. the bang for buck (no slurs intended) is unbeatable there!

Skimming over newegg, about all I can find within that price range is something like a 6600GT or a Radeon x1600 Pro. You really should expand your budget if you want something pretty decent.

x1600 pro isn't that bad a card,go for the x800/x850 series if you can cuz i'm pretty sure they are better.

There aren't many options. A 7600GS would be about your best choice.

I've had my 7600gs for a couple months and it works pretty good wth the counter-strike source, but like everyone else said, I really recommend expanding your budget and getting something better
