About three weeks ago my hard drive started to make ticking sounds. The next week, when I went to play Battlefield 2, my computer suddenly turn off after about three seconds of being in a match and I couldn't turn it back on unless I unplugged the power cord. I opened up Everest just for fun right now only to find that my CPU has a fluxing temp of more the 50 degrees in maybe two seconds. 7C one seconds, 54C the next. Sometimes it even vanishes from the list
! I have no clue what's going on here. I still can't play Battlefield 2 without the computer shutting it's self down but the hard drive ticking is gone now.
I'm pretty sure it's not infected. I use avast! and CCleaner a lot. Nothing on my system is OCed.
Ideas? Suggestions?
