Hey everyone. I bought a motherboard, cpu, Ram to upgrade my pc. I was sick of using 6gbs of ddr2 and an old amd phenom x3. So needless to say, I get my new parts, and start taking out the old components... I realized the only "OLD" thing left in here is my DVD drive. IDE. well crap my motherboard doesn't take IDE. So now I have no dvd drive. Here is to my question. Naturally everything will boot fine, however my HDD still has win7 installed, with all the driver from the old setup. With no DVD drive to reinstall win7 like planned, and then all the other drivers, I can lan my laptop to the computer and use the dvd drive from the laptop, or can I somehow do this? I already ordered a new DVD drive today, but it wont be here for a few days. Hope you guys can help, thanks!

Unfortunately, you won't be able to do anything until you get the dvd drive. You can get a sata to IDE converter but most of the time, they don't work. So just wait the few days and do it the correct way.
