Ok my boss wants a computer that can handle his RC plane game

Here is what I have picked out already. He already has the video card he needs and im not sure which one it is. Im sure its a normal PCI slot though

Well thats a bit over doing it for that game. Depends how much he wants to spend... but for a game like that, you could go about with 2 sticks of 512mb ram to make 1gb, but would also run in dual channel. Can go with a lower performance processor too.

However, that is a great build, will no doubt run that game perfectly fine plus other modern games.

Well t says it wants 3 ghz for optimal performance. The processor I chose is only 2.2 ghz. I know AMDs have a lower ghz rating but make up for it somehow. This processor is 2.2ghz if I moved to an equivelent Intel what would the GHZ have to be? Like this is 2.2 does tht compaire to a 4.0ghz intell or no? Im kindof new to the comp building thing.

That processor you picked is actually a dual core processor. It has two 2.2ghz cores. However, the game will only use one core. AMD is much faster with gaming than intel though... don't know what pentium 4 that the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.20GHz can compete with.. but it's certainly fast enough I believe. Dual core processors are great for multitasking. However, if he just wants to play that game and nothing else, i'd recommend a single core such as the AMD 64 3800+. There is also the FX-55, but thats a bit expensive.

If he wants to play more games in the future, then the dual core is perfect.

However, that build will run the game perfectly, even with 2GB of ram.

this would be fine dont worry you are running two cores it would be much better than a P4 3.00 ghz for example
 
If thats the only thing he is using thee computer for then u can probably cut down a bit. u could save money and since u said that his card was a normal pci slot, its probably not to good. u could get rid of the watercooling and buy him a 6800gt or 7800gt.
 
I think the card he has is a 7800 GT not 100% sure Ill have to ask him today. The watercooling is just a VGA cooling system. I guess its new by Thermal Take Its only $70 and I figure its well spent. I burned a hole in my ATI 9800 pro once before so Id like that not to happen again lol.
