I hope this will work I am not sure on the Hard Drive SATA 6.0Gb?
I don't know if I need A CPU Cooler? I don't plan on OC the CPU.
That why I went with this Mobo 1600 ram with out OC.
This system is to get me gaming again and getting me off my laptop.
My son will take any of the hardware I give him when I upgrade.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

The Ram looks good I can change that.
my overall budget is discretionary with christmas coming up and bills I feel
comfortable with about $900 or less.

Looks like a pretty good build. I don't know if you have or not but play around with some of the combo deals on new egg. You can probably upgrade a lot of you components for no cost with a little creativity.
Heres a few examples from a build I did last week.

Case and memory.

power supply and processor

same mobo and windows oem

In the end I think only two of my components were not part of a combo deal.
If you have some time just keep checking newegg, I wound up getting two 23.6 inch monitors for 155 a piece with free shipping.

Antec 900 offers little to no cable management, see if you can get a better case (CM storm scout/sniper, 690 II Advanced/HAF 922 etc etc)

Thanks for the help.
I am going to change the RAM.
I will wait to see if I need a cooler. After I check my CPU temps.
I am open to getting a different case but if I get a CM storm sniper my son wont talk to me for a week. Good idea.
I will probably change the HD still thinking about the SATA 6 GB.
I will start looking at the Shell Shocker and combo deals for the next 2 weeks.

Thanks again

I think it is a good idea to hold off on the cpu cooler. I am using the stock cooler and thermal compound that came with my 955 and its fine.
