ok so im thinking about getting another netbook to replace the one i spilt water on lol
i have a msi u-100
it came with 1 gig of ram and i upgraded to 2
it has 2 gigs and a 160 gig hardrive
and it has windows xp on it
i paid 309 bucks for it on tigerdirect
i do not know much about computers specially when it comes to proccessers and stuff like that the only thing i know about proccessers is that the atom is smaller than a regular one lol i only know about ram and hardrive so i need yalls help
i bought the msi u-100 because i read on the internet and saw youtube videos saying it was the best netbook out at the time but of course a month later somthing else beat it haha but i loved this netbook but the main reason i got this exact one is because most netbooks do not let you put more ram in it which i do not like so i got the u-100 and once i put the 2nd gig of ram it was an amazing lil machine if i could of put a 3rd gig of ram in it i prolly would of lol
the only bad thing about the msi u-100 is the keyboard it was biggest keyboard you could get on a netbook at that time but now they make great keyboards and the mousepad/click part is crap even before i spilt water on it
so heres what im looking for in my new netbook
my new netbook has to at least meet the standards of the msi u-100 or beat it
i have to be able to upgrade the ram in it
has to have at least 160 gig hardrive
now of course if the proccesser could be better i would love that to
and around the same price range as what i paid for so around $309
any other advice would be great!
and i am still considering getting another msi u-100 cause i liked it so much but if i can get another netbook with a better keyboard/mouse better processer ect ect for around the same price i payed then i will get a different kind of netbook thx alot guys and gals!
