OK here is the deal, my wife and I are having troubles, and this guy is trying to date my wife, he is a IT guy and is supposedly pretty good. The problem is he has gotten ahold of all our passwords and put some "spy-ware" programs on our computer one tracks all the web-sites and information we type, and another logs all the IM's that are sent, the problem is my wife dosen't believe that he did it. and he is sending Myspace Letters from my wifes and my profiles. The question is, how can I prove this, I contaced Myspace and my ISP but their help has been limited. Is there a way to see what IP address log on to my computer and where the messages were sent? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me, my marriage hangs in the balance.

First of all, scan your system with a virus remover (recommended: ad-aware!), and once you have deleted the program he won't be able to track anything. Change your passwords immediately after!

ok, I can keep him out now, but I need to know how to catch him or I need proof that someone was in there messing around, I need to know how I can look at what IP address sent the messages, I know he has access to this computer and I am sure that makes it harder to find information out, but I need help

If you get an anti hacking software program perhaps, and maybe it could track the ip address that he is hacking from, i use nvidia firewall ad anti-hacking which came with my mobo, possible shop around ask the question about tracking the hackers ip if it is not covered. That's all I could think of sorry I can't be much more help for this situation, or you could try the old fashion way, find where he lives beat the crap outta him.

well beating the crap out of him while a great idea not sure it is gonna help in the long run, but is an option......lol
thanks for the help though, I just need to see if I can back track the messages or see if a remote log in was made on my computer
