I have an ECS Elitegroup P4VXASD2 mobo and a s478 P4 northwood 2.4 gigahertz. I'm trying to overclock, but hen i go into the bios and the CPU section, it syas the multiplier setting is locked and I cant even go down to the FSB section, the highlighted text is just stuck on the multiplier setting. Does anybody know hwat to do, or if this Mobo can even OC? Is it a bios revision that I need?

Yes.. this is really anoying... it wont let me scroll down to the fsb section... Also if my agp slot is OCd as a result does that mean my GPU will run at a higher speed because i've already OC'd my graphics card.

And from what I read the memory isnt dettermend by the fsb on s478? I tried changing the memory speed but it also wouldnt stay...

Some MOTHER-BOARDS have a JUMPER that locks the FSB. You may also need to SET other JUMPERS, (Usually a BLOCK of 5) for the FSB setting.
Check the MOTHBOARD MANUAL at ECS's web-site
