Hi everyone, I am troubleshooting my new 15 processor

here is the thread

http://www.computerforum.com/164448-installed-new-mobo-lights-flicker-wont-start.html

I have a feeling it is the PSU that is the problem, Is there a good PSU someone can help me pick?

This is for an atx case, i5 processor + socket mobo with 4 gigs of ram and a gtx 260

ps. The reason I think its my power supply is because when I had my old mother board with the same power supply, to get the pc booted I used to have to unplug and plug the back of the PSU in the get a good boot (the led fan lights would flicker )

hey thx, it says the 12v rail is single, the power supply I have now has multiple, which is better? also are there two CPU connecters? (little 4 pin guys that go near heatsink)

and what is ATX 12v? compatiable with normal atx?

Single 12V rails are optimal--but it doesn't really matter nearly as much as the Amps on the 12V. That PSU will have everything you need--it's one of the highest rated PSUs.
