Okay i am looking to buy one from july the 5th because of xp being ditched.
I am okay to buy one as late as Januraru but not after that.
Oh £700 budget

What are you needs/wants/have to haves? What applications are you going to run? Do you prefer one brand over another, or have issues with any brand in particular?

We need to know in detail exactly what you are looking for, otherwise people are just going to post links of random laptops in your price range.


Also, a little pet peeve of mine.....Windows uses back slashes, every other OS in the world uses forward slashes, so your location should read

C:\Windows\System32\root
