Old 32 MB RAM Stick

Today, I took apart my 11 yr old comp and pulled out it's pathetically small RAM stick. I'm just wondering if it may be possible to use it in my newer HP Media Center since I've got an extra slot.
Just for the record: The old comp is a Gateway 2000 that ran Windows 95 (It doesn't now- I pulled out the hdd, too)
The newer comp is an HP Media Center 2004 m495c
And a little thing to add: I'm hoping to build my own comp sooner or later, so it would be nice to know if this'll work universally.
And if this is possible, how will I go about prepping my comp for the new RAM? I only need it to work with my Linux install- I'm probably going to have to reinstall Windows anyway (again)

i wouldnt put that RAM in the newer computer, even if it would've worked, i dont think it will work anyway.

Well, just to make sure (so I might have a chance at this)
Up in the corner it had:
AMTEL649
24CO2N
*SI27 B
And on each rectangular section, it's got:
SEC KOREA
701Y
KM48S2020AT-G12
I think it's sill 168 pin. If any of that changes anyone's mind, then I still may have a chance at using it.

Also, the other thing I pulled out of the comp was the the old 3 GB hard disk. Is there anything I can do with it? I'm hoping I might be able to reformat it and use it as a small second hard disk...
Here's some pics:

yeah, you could probrably use it, what windows does it have on it? you could probrably fit 2000 on there, and sell it on ebay.

it's got Win 95 on it. And anyway, I'm not going to buy a Win 2000 disk for it. I'm just hoping to use it for a little extra storage.
Is there a specific way that you'd have to install it in you comp- or would it be automaticly detected so I could use it as soon at it's put in?
