Rayman says fatal error :
Corrupted CD-ROM driver (MSCDEX).
System info :

Windows 7 doesn't have dos. It will have to be played on a system that has windows ME or below on it as windows XP and above doesn't have dos on it.

Another reason to install DOSBox is that modern computers are way too fast for those old games and can make the game unplayable even if you do get it to run. DOSBox gives you the ability to fine tune the speed to make the game playable.

Yep, it looks like pro and ultimate and only 32bit versions. It may run in 64 bit if the app/game is 64 bit compatible. Just had to do some searching to get this info. I didn't know they made full dos support in 7.

Maybe the 32-bit versions, but not the 64-bit one. And DOS compatibility doesn't mean it'll actually run the program correctly.

Yes, i have 7 pro 64bit. maybe he can click the exe on the disc or try storing in a directory on the hd then right click compatibility mode. I have at least 20 games from dos. i will try later. Doom, pacman etc. or the other program. i might also have to try it.

A lot of those won't work because back in the DOS days you didn't ask DOS to write to the disk, you directly accessed it. That's a no-no now. You also typically wrote a direct hardware interface for the sound. That's why back in the day so many games needed to be 'sound blaster compatible.'

I'll add to the DOSBox recommendations. It's pretty good.
