So I've just had my internet installed at my new place. I dug up this old linksys router (wireless-G broadband) to use and its not working right.
I plug the Ethernet from the modem to the main port on it, then another from the first of four ports to my computer. Quite simply the router doesn't seem to be bridging that connection and I get no internet.
I've unplugged and replugged it, tried all the ports and nothing works.
Is it likely that the router is just broken?
