Hi i have an old MacBook Pro 15"
Model Identifier: MacBookPro1,1
Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 2 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP11.0055.B08
SMC Version: 1.2f10
running Mac OS X 10.4.11 it was running good until i gave it to my mom/sister to use until they get a new computer well i finally got it back and now it runs extremely slow i deleted both the user accounts which with all the files. That helped alittle but i was wondering if theres anything else i can do to get it up and running like it was before.

maybe you can try upgrade CPU...or check your laptop relate accessories, whether they need replace or not.
THere has never (to my knowledge) been a mac laptop with upgradeable processor. Most if not all of them are soldered to the motherboard.

Hi caboose73
try to install operating system again before do anything.
I would run a maleware scan before you go through reinstalling the OS. I am not sure what works on OSX, but you can try malewarebytes and see.
