Hopefully I am posting this in the right forum, if not i am sorry.

Here is my problem, when i plug my pc in the on light on the front just blinks green, if i hold the start button down for 5 seconds it will not restart, just wondering what could be wrong with it?

So all you get is the flashing light and it won't shut down without unplugging it? Was it working before?

My guess is a bad power supply or a bad motherboard. However, I have seen a bad hard drive do the same thing(but that's quite rare) If you don't mind getting inside of it, I'd remove everything from the motherboard(including RAM) and see if it does anything different. If not, you know it's the motherboard or PSU. If anything's different, start putting the parts back in and see if it continues to work...
 
thank you very much, I am pretty sure it is the power supply, i did some more research and from everything i read, it sounds like that is it. SO, I will try that.
