ok ivve got to do it
im thinking 400 doesnt sound too bad for a pimp card
im considering either the

6800 Gt
or he 6800 ultra

in the 350-450 range what card is hot ?

is there new technology coming that i should hold out for
i will be using an agp slot
i dont want to over clock it
I love gaming and thats predominately what this computer is for

heres my current setup

p4 3.0 e
asus p4p 800se
2x512 corsair matched pair 3200
80gb 7200 rpm

eh hmmm radeon 9000 pro 128mb video card

i am about to take the leap but id like to be sure i get the right card
i dont use multiple monitors or tv out or anything liek that

what does the ultra have that i would want?
 
Normly I would recomend the geforce 6800 GT because of the lower price and still great performance but since the price difference only $20 this time I would go with the geforce 6800 Ultra. The ultra is the better card. Just make sure your PSU can handle the geforce 6800 ultra. I believe they reccomend a 480 or more watt PSU. You will also need to plug 2 power connectors into to the geforce 6800 ulta.

I my self own the exact same geforce 6800 Ultra in your link and I love it.
 
geforce 6800 ultra requirments
A minimum 350W system power supply, but 480W is highly recommanded.
An AGP 8X/4X compliant motherboard.
Two hard disk drive power dongles off of separate power supply cable bundles (smaller floppy disk drive connector is not sufficient).

It is 50Mhz faster, lol. I dont see a huge difference, but the 6800Ultra is the best card out there (nvidia wise). I would go with the ultra.
