OMG, i just found out today, they are making a UT2007, the initial screenshots are absolutely baffling, graphics are uot of this world.

If you run it in SLI - otherwise you may need to back off a little to get high framerates. Of course, running two in SLI will cause your CPU to become the bottleneck unless you're running a very fast single core CPU.

you must read MaximumPC, cause just about that exact phrase was in this month's review of the 7800

but about ut2k7, i agree...omg graphics are amazing, those graphics look the best to date in a game, i think i'll have to upgrade from a fx5200 too

Nope, it 's just simple math. You essentially double the bandwith on the bus and it will be a robust cpu indeed that can handle it. I couldn't tell a huge difference between one 7800 and two without running benchmark software like 3dMark05

That's great news. Looks like I will need to upgrade as well . The graphics seem amazing to me. I would not be surprised if the game came close to that or oven surpasses it.

perhaps, you have a nice processor and memory, so i would say it should run on low settings. Now with Unreal Tournament, they have ligke 7 different quality levels, so i would say you could put your on low (instead of lower, and lowest).
